We are excited to announce that the 55th edition of the Heineken Roeivierkamp will take place on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 March 2027. Mark your calendars!
Once again, the Amstel River in Amsterdam will be the stage for a thrilling weekend of rowing, with competitive races, international crews, and the unmistakable atmosphere of the Roeivierkamp.

Feedback Heineken Roeivierkamp 2026
The 54th edition of the Heineken Roeivierkamp has come to an end! We would like to thank you all for a wonderful weekend. There was fierce competition across all distances to achieve the best times. Thanks to your enthusiasm, dedication and sportsmanship, we can look back on another fantastic Heineken event.
We want to keep improving the event every year and make the experience as good as possible for all teams. That is why we would very much like to hear how you found it. Your feedback, ideas and suggestions are incredibly valuable to us and help us to organise an even better event in the future.
We are also conducting an internal review and will get straight to work on further improving future editions. In doing so, we will take this year’s experiences into account (for example, by adjusting the schedule and start times where necessary, so that they no longer need to be changed at the last minute)!

Attention: narrowed finish 5000m
Due to an obstacle from the municipality, the finish line of the 5000m has been narrowed. Crews rowing through the fourth Berlage-bridge arch from the left (the second arch from the east side) must steer diagonally back toward the narrowed finish line. Yellow buoys are placed between the return lane and the race lane. All crews must remain on the correct side of these buoys (port side).
Please note: since crews will also be coming through the middle bridge arch, there is a risk of collision. This must be avoided at all times. In principle, the crew being overtaken must give way, but there may not always be enough room to do so. Please take this into account.
Sunday: align into zones for 5000m
See the overview above for the layout of the zones, to ensure that the lining up and start of the 5000m on Sunday runs smoothly.
Changes starting zones long distances
The situation at the start of the long distances (2500m and 5000m) has changed. To keep everything clear, we have made a new map available showing the updated layout. View the new situation and start zones here.
What is different compared to previous years?
- This year, a call-up lane has been created next to the start zones.
- From the yellow buoys, crews may turn out of the call-up lane and enter the zones.
- Crews enter the start zones from the rear and row to the correct zone.
Important: New Boat Trailer Registration Procedure for H4K 2026
Please note: As of this year, the procedure for boat trailers has changed. To ensure smooth logistics on the quays and at the host clubs, we have implemented a centralized registration system.
Boat trailers are no longer registered with individual clubs. Instead, all registrations are managed centrally and then distributed. While we aim to accommodate regular parking spots, central registration is now mandatory for everyone.
Deadline: March 2nd
Please ensure your boat trailer is registered no later than one week before the race.

Key Instructions:
- Shared Trailers: Are you sharing a trailer with other clubs? Please list all clubs on that trailer in the ‘Questions/Remarks’ (Vragen/Opmerkingen) field.
- WeCargo: Even if your transport is handled by WeCargo, registration via the link above is still mandatory.
- No Direct Registration: It is no longer possible to register trailers directly with the host clubs.

Official registrations for the 2026 H4K are open!
The 54th Heineken Roeivierkamp is approaching!
Was your crew selected in the entry draw? Then you’re eligible to compete in H4K 2026. To secure your place in the regatta, you must complete the official registration through the KNRB system. Registrations will be open from February 9, 2026, at 06:00 until March 9, 2026, at 23:50.
The draw for the final timetable will take place on Friday, March 13, and the first 2,500-meter race will start on Saturday, March 14, at 9:30 (see the preliminary timetable).

The results of the draw have been published!
International crews who pre-registered have received an email with the outcome of the draw. Please check your inbox (and spam folder) for details.
If your crew has been selected, more information about the next steps to register for the Heineken Roeivierkamp can be found in the email you received and on this page. This includes instructions on how to complete payment and finalize the official registration in the system of the Dutch Rowing Federation (KNRB).
Not selected in the draw? Your crew will be placed on a waiting list and notified if a spot becomes available.
Got a spot but no longer able to participate? Please always let us know. That way, you won’t be holding on to a start slot that another crew could use.
