Be aware that the finish of the long distances (2500m and 5000m) is across the entire width of the Amstel River. So, there is no need to re-cross after passing the bridge opening to the Nereus side of the River Amstel.
How to get to the H4K
It is strongly recommended to use public transport or a bike to get to the event.
How to get to the Heineken Roeivierkamp easily?
- ASR Nereus/Finish area: Metro & train → Amsterdam Amstel.
- RIC, Skøll, Willem 3, Poseidon: Metro station Spaklerweg. Paid parking is available in the surrounding neighborhoods, but be aware that parking spaces are limited.
- The Jan Vroegopsingel (Skøll, Willem 3, Poseidon) is closed to car traffic. We highly recommend using public transport or biking.
Invitation Saturday Night Dinner
Dear rowers, coxes and coaches,
This year, we are introducing a new dining experience for all rowers participating in the Heineken Regatta. Instead of an exclusive international dinner, we are offering a buffet-style meal on Saturday, March 15, ensuring that everyone has access to a good, hearty meal after a long day of racing.
Date: Saturday, March 15th 2025
Time: You can sign up between 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Location: De Hoop - Weesperzijde 1046-A, 1091 EH Amsterdam (within walking distance from Nereus)
Price: €23.95 per person
What: Buffet with a variety of dishes, including a vegetarian option.
De Hoop is a very special location looking out over the race course of the 750-meter and 250-meter distances. De Hoop, regularly hosts club nights with a varied buffet and a fresh salad bar, providing high-quality meals at an affordable price.
They are now extending this concept to all rowers during the regatta. You will be able to reserve your spot online via the following link: https://lots-events.nl/heineken-regatta-2025/.
This setup offers a great opportunity to meet other teams while enjoying a well-balanced meal before returning to rest and recover for Sunday's races.
There will be some members of our H4K committee and the Nereus board joining part of the evening to meet you all. While the international dinner was initially intended to foster connections between international teams and the organisers, this new format also provides the opportunity to get in contact with Dutch rowers.

Registration boat trailers
In the weeks preceding the H4K weekend, boat trailers must be registered. This should be done at the Amsterdam Rowing Associations to which the participating crews are linked. For the distribution of the boat trailers and further explanation about registering boat trailers, see this page.

H4K codes for official registrations KNRB
Due to an excess of pre-registrations, a draw has taken place. You can find the results here. If you have been selected, you can officially register at the KNRB using your H4K code. The H4K codes are linked to the correct crew, including the name of the (expected) stroke.

OPEN - Official registrations KNRB
Official registrations for national and international crews are officially open! Between February 10 and March 10, you must officially register your team through the KNRB system. Only then will you secure a spot at the Heineken Roeivierkamp 2025.
The draw to determine the definitive timetable will take place on Friday, March 14, and the first 2500-meter race will start on Saturday, March 15, at 9:30 AM (see the schedule). We hope to see you all on the water or at Nereus/Weesperzijde to cheer for the boats during these exciting races.

The 53rd Heineken Roeivierkamp is approaching!
Official registrations for national and international crews have to be done through the KNRB system. The registrations are open from February 10, 2025, at 06:00 until March 10, 2025, at 23:50.
The draw to determine the definitive timetable will take place on Friday, March 14, and the first 2500-meter race will start on Saturday, March 15, at 9:30 (see the preliminary timetable). We hope to see you all on the water or at Nereus/Weesperzijde to cheer on the boats during these exciting race days.
